Every body knows the story about the frog who got stuck in a hole and could’nt  get out at first,no matter ho whard he tried.People gathered around the hole and yelled to the frog to stop jumpig,as with every jump,he dug himself deeper into the hole.

Finally, with a huge leap, the frog emerged from the hole, a little flusttered , but safe. “it is a good thing you didn’t listen to our discouragement’, someone told the frog.It is probably only a fable, but the message remains as powerful as the first day the story was told.It was a sense of belief and determination (refusal to quit) that pushed the frog out of the hole.

I Beleive in the Nigerian dream and I am filled with patrotic outrage when I see my fellow country men ull down the symbols of our nation hood, smashing them on the ground  and grinding them with their heels.

It is not news that Nigeria is plagued with high level of moral decadence, bribery and corruption, ethnic rivalry, party gerry mandering, embezzlement of public funds, and disregard for the rule of law.In spite of the various endowments and natural resources to wit ; The Nation is blessed with abundant deposite of oil and ga, coal, steel, etc. there is massive looting of the nation’s treasury as well as mismanagment of funds by successive leaders of the country.

However, if people think Nigeria can never be good, then that is the greatest of all the problems we have got.We have to be realistic and objectyive in finding a way forward towards the betterment of our country,if it is not us, then nobody. The first step to this change,to this change is to repent and ask God for forgivness as a nation for our past misdeeds. Then we have to believe in ourselfs,as wellas unity in diversity ,believe in selflessness and the greatness of the nation . I BELIEVE IN NIGEREIA ,but faith is nothing without substance. That is why we have to put all hands on deck to effect the necessay change for our great country NIGERIA.’’ I BELIVE IN NIGERIA”……..
