Name Amanda Peters

State Of Origin: Anambra state

I am representing igbo culture found especially in Anambra State

My apparel portrays the modern traditional attire of an igbo bride, I will start by explaining my attire, on my head is a head tie called ichafu  the blouse made with a lace material is called Akwa enu, and on my waist is a wrapper (ogodo) tied around the blouse, my attire is beautify with beads called akah with colour to match
the wrapper, this attire is mostly worn by a bride during her traditional
marriage or worn by married women for a special event in anambra state and some
part of eastern part of Nigeria, I love this attire because it portrays true beauty of an igbo lady, and it also shows that you can still dress cultural and decent and still look beautiful.
