I believe in Nigeria

Nigeria since her fight for dependence and her core carefully formulated by her founding fathers namely Dr. Nnamdi Azikewe, Dr. Obafemi Owolwo  and Sir Alhaji Tafa Balawa, blessed with a booming population, teaming work force, almost every fragment of the world natural resources, a fertile soil and freedom from British domineering has remain the envy of the other African countries as her economy raise to be the best in Africa, a solace for all African countries, a hope for almost half of the world population and till this day she has remain the pride of very black man on the street.

Nigeria has traded upon difficult times but over coming every challenges within this times has been her focus, bring hope to her own has been the very reason she have driven herself to the limit.

Nigeria has recorded a number of blissful moments, the very breeze blowing through every home on her soil, among these is the record breaking oil boom of the 70s.

Over the years successes have been recorded in various sectors for the economy which ranges from the oil sector, to the educational sector, the power sector, the aviation sector and the health sector. With these sectors working tirelessly the country has experience a total economic return over making her  the best on the African continent and a force to be recon with in the world.

Nigeria, with total population of over 180 million people, she has been flourishing but it has not been without her ups and down. After the fight for independence of 1960,Nigeria has been in the continuous fight of overcoming herself little wonder the saying “the greatest fear is the fear of once self” in  the quest to conquer and understand herself, the civil war that claimed  lives, destroyed properties and left  her government in disarray still ravage  the country living behind the most satanic of Nigeria’s nightmare “corruption”. Havened dogged into the frame work of Nigeria this self-destructive enemy has left the country in a state of collapse, though fought with her might, has always find a way of eluding her best combat soldier living her in chaos, ripping her of breath and indirectly killing her economy.

Another of this nightmare, like corruption, terrorism has become a full flesh organized crime that she has to deal with causing her sleepless night.

In the face of all these turbulence when asked” Nigeria what do you hold?”, this was and still is her response:

Since the economic melt down did not crush me and my back to the ground , since the  Baccasssi peninsula problem did not crush me , since the war did not break me, militant did not conquer ,the Boko haram cannot move me, then, to all Nigerians I will not be shaken.

With this bold response  my fear are , my hope lifted for I believe in Nigeria my dearest country , my homeland and my pride.

Let’s join together and help Nigeria achieve her dream of a better Nigeria.

I believe I will be greater than this ,don’t you?
