Kaka left AC Milan in 2009 for a world record fee of £56m to
Real Madrid but injury and poor form limited his appearances for the Los Blancos. He
returned last month to San Siro but was taken off in the 70th minute in the
stalemate at Torino.
The former world player of the year has asked
that his pay be suspended during his stay on the sidelines. He said “I don’t want
anything from Milan except for love and support until I’m fully fit and ready to
play. For this reason I have decided to suspend my current pay for this period of
time. The only thing I ask for is support and help to recover properly”.
